The Metropolitan Transport Corporation operates a large fleet serving numerous routes throughout the city. For intercity travel to other Tamil Nadu cities and neighbouring states, the Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G.R Bus Terminus at Koyambedu is the main departure point. Located on the Inner Ring Road in western Chennai, this is one of Asia's largest bus stations and serves both state transport and private bus services.
Rail Network
