- Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport: Located about an hour from the city center, this airport offers intercity bus services and shuttle buses to specific locations like the South China Mall. Private cars can also transport passengers to the city center in roughly one hour.
- Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport: This airport is approximately one hour from the city center but provides closer access to specific towns such as Chang'an and Humen. Travelers can reach Dongguan via a combination of metro and bus, or by using the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Intercity Railway.
Rail and Metro Networks
Dongguan features several rail options for both local travel and regional transit:

While public transport exists, it is less developed than in neighboring cities due to the region's car-centric infrastructure:
