Zwolle is a city and municipality located in the northeastern region of the Netherlands. It serves as the capital of the province of Overijssel and stands as the province's second-largest municipality, following Enschede.
The city has a population of 132,441 as of December 2023. Geographically, Zwolle borders the province of Gelderland and is situated on the eastern side of the River IJssel.
