Tel Aviv

Israel

Tel Aviv, officially Tel Aviv-Yafo (also known as Tel Aviv-Jaffa), is the most populous city in the Gush Dan metropolitan area of Israel. Located on the Mediterranean coastline, the city has a population of 494,900 and serves as the country's economic and technological center. Depending on how Jerusalem's status is defined, Tel Aviv is either Israel's second-most-populous or most-populous city.

The city functions as a global high-tech hub and is central to Israel's technology and business sectors. Its position on the coast and role as an economic engine make it a major urban center in the country.
