Zimbabwe

Harare is the capital and largest city of Zimbabwe. Located in the north-eastern part of the country within the Mashonaland region, it sits on a plateau at an elevation of 1,483 metres above sea level. The city's climate is classified as subtropical highland.

The city proper covers an area of 982.3 km2 and had a population of 1,849,600 according to the 2022 census. Its broader metropolitan province includes the municipalities of Chitungwiza, Epworth, and Ruwa, with an estimated total population of 2,487,209.
