Chinhoyi is a city located in the Makonde District of central northern Zimbabwe, within the Mashonaland West region. Formerly known by the name Sinoia during the colonial era, the city currently has a population of approximately 90,800 residents.

The settlement was originally established as an Italian group settlement scheme. In modern times, it is primarily recognized as a college town. The area surrounding the city features notable landmarks, including the Chinhoyi Caves and a national park, which serve as popular local attractions.
