Ruwa

Zimbabwe

Ruwa is a town located in the Mashonaland East Province of Zimbabwe. It is situated approximately 23 km south-east of the capital city, Harare, along the main Harare-Mutare highway and railway line.

The settlement was officially established as a Growth Point in 1986 under the Acts, Income Tax Chapter, and Sales Tax Chapter. Ruwa was subsequently granted Local board status through a warrant issued in 1990. It currently falls within the Harare metropolitan Province.
