Vega Baja is a town and municipality situated on the coast of north-central Puerto Rico. Geographically, it is positioned north of Morovis, east of Manatí, and west of Vega Alta. The municipality is divided into 14 distinct barrios.
As of the 2020 census, the population of Vega Baja was recorded at 54,414 residents. It is currently categorized as part of the San Juan–Caguas–Guaynabo metropolitan statistical area.
