Utuado

Puerto Rico

Utuado is a town and municipality located in the central mountainous region of Puerto Rico, specifically within the Cordillera Central. It is situated north of Adjuntas and Ponce, south of Hatillo and Arecibo, east of Lares, and west of Ciales and Jayuya.

The municipality is notable for being the third-largest in Puerto Rico by land area. According to the 2020 US Census, Utuado has a population of 28,287 residents distributed across 24 barrios and the pueblo.
