Trujillo Alto is a town and municipality located in Puerto Rico. It is situated on the northeastern coastal plain along the boundary between the Northern Karst Belt and the Sierra de Luquillo. Geographically, the area is characterized by both river lowlands and mountains.
The municipality is part of the San Juan metropolitan area and is positioned north of Caguas and Gurabo, southeast of San Juan, and west of Carolina. Trujillo Alto is organized into six barrios along with its downtown area and administrative center, known as Trujillo Alto Pueblo.
