Orocovis is a town and municipality situated in the central region of Puerto Rico. It was founded in 1825 by Juan Rivera de Santiago and is currently organized into 17 barrios.
The municipality is part of the San Juan-Caguas-Guaynabo Metropolitan Statistical Area. Geographically, Orocovis is positioned north of Villalba and Coamo, south of Morovis and Corozal, southeast of Ciales, east of Jayuya, and west of Barranquitas.
