Jayuya is a town and municipality located in the mountainous center region of Puerto Rico. Geographically, it is situated north of Ponce, east of Utuado, and west of Ciales.
The municipality is organized into ten barrios and includes Jayuya Pueblo. It serves as the principal city of the Jayuya Micropolitan Statistical Area.
