Hormigueros is a town and municipality located in the western region of Puerto Rico. It is situated northeast of Cabo Rojo, northwest of San Germán, and south of Mayagüez.
The municipality is composed of five barrios and Hormigueros Pueblo. It is also part of the Mayagüez Metropolitan Statistical Area.
