Guayanilla is a town and municipality located on the southern coast of Puerto Rico. It borders the Caribbean Sea and is situated south of Adjuntas, east of Yauco, west of Peñuelas, and approximately 12 miles (19 km) west of Ponce.
The municipality is organized into Guayanilla Pueblo and 16 distinct barrios. Geographically and administratively, it is part of the Yauco Metropolitan Statistical Area.
