Adjuntas is a small mountainside town and municipality located in the central midwestern portion of Puerto Rico. It is situated on the Cordillera Central mountain range, positioned north of Yauco, Guayanilla, and Peñuelas; southeast of Utuado; east of Lares and Yauco; and northwest of Ponce.
The municipality is organized into 16 barrios and Adjuntas Pueblo. It is located approximately two hours by car westward from the capital city of San Juan.
