Abalak, also known as Abalagh, is a town and commune located in the northern part of Niger. It serves as the administrative seat (Chef-lieu) of the Abalak Department, which is one of the eight subdivisions within the Tahoua Region.
According to the 2012 census, the town had a population of fewer than 74,719 residents. As an administrative division, it functions as a local government entity within the regional structure of northern Niger.
