Mayahi is a town situated in the Maradi Region of Niger. It serves as the administrative seat for both the Mayahi Department and its corresponding commune, located approximately 45 kilometers from the town of Tessaoua.
In 2012, the urban area of Mayahi had a recorded population of 14,000 residents. The name "Mayaki" is also recognized as a traditional rulers' title among the Sudié and Maouri, which are local subgroups of the Hausa people.
