Dogondoutchi is a commune located in Niger. It is situated approximately 300 km east of the national capital, Niamey, and lies about 40 km from the Nigerian border.
The town serves as a point on national route 1, which connects Niamey to the eastern towns of Maradi and Zinder. Additionally, it provides access to national route 25, which heads north toward Tahoua, Agadez, and Arlit.
