Atolinga is a municipality situated in the southern region of the state of Zacatecas, Mexico. It serves as one of the 58 municipalities within the state and covers a total surface area of 280 square kilometers (110 sq mi).
The municipality is bordered by Tepechitlán and Florencia de Benito Juárez, with Tlaltenango de Sánchez Román located to the east. Its northern and western boundaries are formed by the state of Jalisco. The municipal seat of Atolinga is positioned at an elevation of 2,250 meters (7,380 ft) above sea level.
