Panabá Municipality is a municipality located in the eastern region of the Yucatán Peninsula's northern coast in the Mexican state of Yucatán. It serves as a geographic area within the state that borders several other municipalities, including San Felipe and Rio Lagartos to the north, Tizimín to the east, Sucilá to the south, and Dzilam de Bravo and Dzilam González to the west.
The name Panabá refers to both the municipality and its largest township, which also serves as the municipal seat. The area is situated along the northern coastline of the peninsula.
