Zozocolco de Hidalgo is a municipality situated in the northwestern region of the Mexican state of Veracruz. It is located approximately 100 kilometres (60 mi) from Xalapa, which serves as the state capital.
The municipality covers a total surface area of 106.11 square kilometres (40.97 mi2). Its geographical coordinates are 20°08′N 97°35′W.
