Yecuatla is a municipality situated in the northern zone of the Mexican state of Veracruz. It is located approximately 40 kilometers from Xalapa, which serves as the state capital.
The municipality covers a total surface area of 135.72 km2 and is positioned at the geographic coordinates of 19°52′N 96°47′W.
