Tezonapa

Tezonapa is a municipality located in the high mountain region of the Mexican state of Veracruz. It is situated approximately 219 kilometers from Xalapa, which serves as the state capital.

The municipality covers a total area of 351 square kilometers (136 mi2). It was officially established by Law 93 on December 22, 1960, in San Agustín. The administrative region comprises several congregations, including Tezonapa, Josefinas, Prison, and Palmarito.
