San Andrés Tenejapan is a municipality situated in the montane central zone of the Mexican state of Veracruz. It is located approximately 85 km from Xalapa, which serves as the state capital.
The municipality covers a total surface area of 24.68 km2 and is geographically positioned at the coordinates 18°47′N 97°06′W.
