Pajapan is a municipality and city situated in the southern zone of the Mexican state of Veracruz. It is located approximately 496 km (308 mi) from Xalapa, which serves as the state capital.
The municipality covers a total surface area of 305.98 km2 (118.14 sq mi). Its geographic coordinates are 18°16′N 94°41′W.
