Otatitlan

Otatitlán is a town and municipality located in the southern region of the Mexican state of Veracruz. It is situated along the border with the neighboring state of Oaxaca.

The area is primarily dedicated to agriculture, with a focus on the production of sugar cane and bananas. The majority of the local population lives in poverty.

Otatitlán is most notable for housing a large black image of a crucified Christ. This specific icon is recognized as one of only three significant images of this type in the region.
