Moloacán is a municipality situated in the southeastern zone of the Mexican state of Veracruz. It is located approximately 456 kilometres (283 mi) from Xalapa, which serves as the state capital.
The municipality covers a total surface area of 261.57 square kilometres (100.99 sq mi). Its geographical coordinates are 17°59′N 94°21′W.
