Zacatelco is a city and the municipal seat of the Zacatelco municipality, situated in the southern region of the Mexican state of Tlaxcala. It serves as the administrative center for the state's third electoral district.
According to a 2010 census conducted by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography, the city has a population of 38,466 people. It ranks as the sixth most populous city in Tlaxcala and is integrated into the Metropolitan area of Puebla.
