Calpulalpan, officially known as the Heroic City of Calpulalpan, is a city in Mexico. It serves as the head and primary urban center of the homonymous municipality, situated to the west of the state of Tlaxcala.
The city is the sixth most populous urban area in the state of Tlaxcala. According to data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), the population was 33,263 in 2010, while estimates from the National Population Council (CONAPO) placed the population at approximately 37,752 in 2017.
