Huásabas is the municipal seat of Huásabas Municipality, located in the northeastern region of the Mexican state of Sonora. The municipality covers a total area of 711.17 km² (274.58 mi²).
As of the year 2000 census, the municipal area had a registered population of 966 residents. The majority of these inhabitants reside within the municipal seat itself.
