Bacoachi is a small town located within the Bacoachi Municipality in the northern region of the Mexican state of Sonora. The municipality covers an area of approximately 487 square miles (1,260.65 km2).
The municipal seat sits at an elevation of 4,429 feet above sea level. As of 2020, the population of the town was recorded as 1,475 residents.
