Aconchi is a small city located in the center of the Mexican state of Sonora. It serves as the primary location within the Aconchi Municipality, which surrounds the city.
The municipality was officially established in 1932. As of 2005, it covered an area of 358.74 square kilometers with a recorded population of 2,452 residents.
