Badiraguato

Badiraguato is a small city and the seat of the Badiraguato Municipality located in the Mexican state of Sinaloa. It is situated at the geographic coordinates 25°21′47″N 107°33′06″W.

According to the 2010 census, the city had a population of 3,725 inhabitants. The nearby hamlet of La Tuna, located approximately 55 kilometres northeast of the city, is noted as the birthplace of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán, who was historically one of Mexico's most powerful drug lords.
