Xilitla is a municipality and town located in the state of San Luis Potosí within the Huasteca region of Mexico. The town is situated at the geographical coordinates 21°23′08″N 98°59′25″W.
The municipality covers an area of approximately 415 square kilometres (160 sq mi). According to 2010 census data, the total population of the municipality was 51,498, with 6,576 residents living specifically within the town of Xilitla.
