Zacatlán is a city and the municipal seat of Zacatlán Municipality in the Sierra Norte de Puebla region of central Mexico. Designated as a "Pueblo Mágico" in 2011, the city features a historic center characterized by traditional houses with red tile roofs.
The region is well known for its production of apples, various fruits, cider, and fruit wines, which are showcased during the annual Feria de la Manzana and Festival de la Sidra. The city is also home to Relojes Centenario, the first clock factory in Latin America, which constructed a double-sided flower clock in the main square.
Beyond the urban center, the surrounding area includes a significant indigenous population and the Piedras Encimadas Valley, a site noted for its rock formations, waterfalls, and ravines.
