Tetela de Ocampo

Tetela de Ocampo is a town located within the Tetela de Ocampo Municipality in the Sierra Norte region of the Mexican state of Puebla. The name "Tetela" originates from the Nahuatl language, combining the elements tetl (hill) and tla (many), which translates to "place of many hills."

The area is currently inhabited by Nahuas. It serves as a primary settlement within its namesake municipality in the mountainous northern region of the state.
