Huauchinango is a city located in the far north of the state of Puebla in central Mexico. It serves as the municipal seat for the surrounding municipality of the same name.
The city is situated within the rugged Sierra Norte de Puebla mountain region, an area characterized by peaks, ravines, and rivers that form waterfalls. It is home to a locally venerated image known as the Señor del Santo Entierro.
Huauchinango is also known for its main commercial fair, the Feria de las Flores. This event promotes the region's flower production, with a particular emphasis on azaleas.
