Santa María Yalina is a town and municipality located in the state of Oaxaca in south-western Mexico. It occupies an area of approximately 28.07 km² (10.84 sq mi).
The municipality is situated within the Villa Alta District, which is positioned in the center of the Sierra Norte Region.
