Santa Catarina Cuixtla is a town and municipality located in the state of Oaxaca in south-western Mexico. It is situated within the Miahuatlán District, which lies in the southern portion of the Sierra Sur Region.
The municipality covers a total land area of 26.37 km2. It serves as a local administrative division within its respective region of Oaxaca.
