San Martín Tilcajete is a town and municipality situated in the southern region of Mexico. It is located approximately 23 kilometres (14 mi) from the city of Oaxaca within the state of Oaxaca.
The municipality is part of the Ocotlán District, which lies in the south of the Valles Centrales Region.
