San Juan Lachigalla is a town and municipality located in the state of Oaxaca in southwestern Mexico. It occupies an area of approximately 136.51 square kilometers.
The municipality is situated within the Ejutla District, which is positioned in the southern portion of the Valles Centrales Region.
