San Juan Bautista Jayacatlán is a town and municipality located in the state of Oaxaca in south-western Mexico. It is situated within the Valles Centrales region and serves as part of the Etla District.
The municipality covers a total area of 173.51 km2. According to data from 2005, the local population was recorded at 1,254 residents.
