San Francisco Nuxaño is a town and municipality located in the state of Oaxaca in south-western Mexico. The municipality occupies a total area of 21.69 km2.
Geographically, San Francisco Nuxaño is situated within the Nochixtlán District. It is positioned in the southeastern portion of the Mixteca Region.
