San Francisco Jaltepetongo is a town and municipality located in the state of Oaxaca in south-western Mexico. The municipality covers a total area of 71.45 km2 (27.59 sq mi).
The location is situated within the southeast portion of the Mixteca Region and is part of the Nochixtlán District.
