San Cristóbal Amoltepec is a town and municipality located in the state of Oaxaca in south-western Mexico. It occupies an area of approximately 31.9 km2.
The municipality is situated within the Tlaxiaco District, which is positioned in the southern portion of the Mixteca Region.
