San Agustín Yatareni is a town and municipality located in the state of Oaxaca in southwestern Mexico. It occupies an area of approximately 33.17 square kilometers.
The municipality is situated within the Valles Centrales region and serves as part of the Centro District. As of 2005, the total population of the municipality was recorded at 3,176 residents.
