San Agustín Amatengo is a town and municipality located in the state of Oaxaca in south-western Mexico. The municipality covers a total area of 58.69 km2.
Geographically, San Agustín Amatengo is situated within the Ejutla District. It is positioned in the southern portion of the Valles Centrales Region.
