Salina Cruz

Salina Cruz is a major seaport located on the Pacific coast of the Mexican state of Oaxaca. It serves as the municipal seat of the municipality of the same name and is situated within the Tehuantepec District in the western portion of the Istmo Region.

The city is the fourth-largest city in the state of Oaxaca. According to 2020 census data, Salina Cruz had a population of 76,660, while its municipality—which covers an area of 131.9 km² (50.9 sq mi)—had a population of 84,438, making it the state's fifth-largest municipality by population.
