Magdalena Jaltepec is a town and municipality located in the state of Oaxaca in southwestern Mexico. The municipality occupies an area of 184.99 km2.
Geographically, it is situated within the southeast portion of the Mixteca Region. It is officially part of the Nochixtlán District.
