Zacatepec is a city located in Mexico. While it serves as a geographic location, it is also associated with Zacatepec Fútbol Club, a professional football team based in Xochitepec, Morelos.
The club was originally founded in 1948 as Club Social y Deportivo Zacatepec by workers of the Emiliano Zapata sugar mill. Over its history, the organization has operated under several names, including Promotora Deportiva Zacatepec SC, Zacatepec 1948, Zacatepec Siglo XXI, and Club Atlético Zacatepec, before being refounded in 2024 as Zacatepec FC.
Currently competing in the Liga Premier, the third level of Mexican football, the team is nicknamed "Cañeros" and wears white and green colors. They play their home matches at the Estadio Mariano Matamoros.
